The R-09 contains a file Repair function to repair files that are unplayable due to the R-09's power inadvertently turning off, removing the SD card or the SD memory reaching its maximum capacity while recording. The following steps will guide you through repairing an unplayable file.
NOTE: The Repair function is available with Version 2.0 or later. Your R-09's current version of operating system appears on the screen when the unit is powering on. You may download the latest version of operating system by clicking on the link below:
Repair Files (Repair)
- Select a song from the <Finder Screen>.
Use the [PLAY ▲ Button ] and [STOP ▼ Button ] to select a song, then press the [REC Button].
- Select “Repair.”
Use the [PLAY ▲ Button ] and [STOP ▼ Button ] to select “Repair,” then press the [REC Button].
- Press the [REC Button] to repair the file.
A confirmation screen is shown.
- Press the [REC Button] to repair the song.
NOTE: Do not turn off power while repairing songs. - Press the [FINDER/MENU Button] to return to the Main Screen.
This feature cannot restore all files. Do not turn off the power or remove the memory card while the R-09 is being used.
NOTE: Even if repaired, up to five seconds at the end of the file may be deleted due to file corruption. Also, this feature cannot repair all files.
