The VS-840 does not have computer integration and cannot be connected directly to a computer. Also, the data on VS-840 Zip discs is proprietary and is not compatible with any computer software and can't be converted.
To transfer VS-840 tracks to a computer, the left and right MASTER OUTPUTS of the VS-840 can connect into the inputs of an audio interface that is compatible with the computer's current operating system (e.g. Window 10, macOS 13, etc). The audio playing out of the MASTER OUTPUTS of the VS-840 can then record audio into recording software in real-time (e.g. Pro Tools, Logic, Cakewalk, etc).

The VS-840 does not contain direct computer integration and cannot be connected to a computer without an audio interface.
- The data on VS-840 Zip discs (e.g. recorded audio tracks, song project settings, etc) is proprietary and cannot be connected to a computer or converted. These Zip discs can only be recognized and used by a VS-840 itself.

The SCSI port on the back panel is designed to connect to external drives and cannot be used to connect to a computer.
