When you have purchased a new SD memory card or are using a SD card formatted for another device, you must first initialize the card to use it properly with the BR-800. Formatting a SD memory card will also alleviate any fragmentation on the card. Use the following steps to format the card:

BACKUP
- Press MENU.
- Use the CURSOR
buttons to move the cursor to “SD CARD” and then press the [ENTER] button. - Use the CURSOR buttons to move the cursor to “FORMAT” and then press the [ENTER] button twice.
