The following article will guide you through erase all of, or a portion of, a track.
If you are using the installed LCD screen:
- Press and hold SHIFT and then press F2 (TRACK).
- Press F6 until "Reg->Ph" appears above F6.
- Press F5 (ERASE) and then press ENTER. The track STATUS buttons will begin to blink green.
- The STATUS button of the track(s) that you would like to erase. A selected track's STATUS button will turn solid red.
- Use the ZOOM cursor buttons and the TIME/VALUE dial to set the IN and OUT points.
Edit Points:
IN - sets the beginning of the audio segment you’re erasing.
OUT - sets the end of the audio segment you’re erasing.
NOTE: If you would like to erase the entire track, set the following:
IN - 00:00:00.00-00
OUT - set this to the end of recording. - Press F5 (OK) and then ENTER.
If you are using an external VGA monitor:
- Click on TRACK on the top of the screen and then select REGION ERASE. The track STATUS buttons will begin to blink green.
- The STATUS button of the track(s) that you would like to erase. A selected track's STATUS button will turn solid red.
- Use the mouse and the TIME/VALUE dial to set the IN and OUT points.
Edit Points:
IN—sets the beginning of the audio segment you’re erasing.
OUT—sets the end of the audio segment you’re erasing.
NOTE: If you would like to erase the entire track, set the following:
IN - 00:00:00.00-00
OUT - set this to the end of recording. - Press F5 (OK) and then ENTER.
