VS-2480, VS-2480CD, VS-2480DVD: SYMPTOM: The Internal LCD Screen Doesn't Respond When Pressing Any Buttons

If the VS-2480's internal LCD screen is not responding when pressing any of the on-board buttons, the unit is most likely in VGA mode and is expecting that an external VGA monitor screen is attached. To get out of this mode:

1. Press and hold the SHIFT button.
2. While holding the SHIFT, press UTILITY--just once.
3. Release both SHIFT and UTILITY.
4. Press the PROJECT button to see if the internal LCD screen now responds. If it doesn't, repeat the steps above and be sure that you're holding SHIFT when pressing the UTILITY button.
