Most Roland serial numbers have a 7-digit designation containing 1–2 letters and 5–6 numbers. The serial number can be found on a white sticker on the bottom or back panel of the product. With certain battery powered products, this sticker can be found in the battery compartment. They can also be located on the UPC sticker on the outside of the product box.
NOTE:
- Serial numbers on legacy products may have fewer digits or only numbers without alphabetic characters.
- Some products have their serial numbers in hard-to-find places. For example, the serial number of the Aerophone series can be found inside the battery box. See "Aerophone: How do I know the serial number of this unit?" for details. The serial numbers for WAZA-AIR and WAZA-AIR BASS can be found by removing the right ear pad. See "WAZA-AIR: How can I check the serial number?" or "WAZA-AIR BASS: How can I check the serial number?".
- For instructions on how to register your product, see "Procedure for Product Registration".
The following photos are examples you can use to locate the serial number on your product:
If your product has a longer serial number (16-digits), the last seven digits are the serial number.
