Low volume levels on audio files that were recorded on the R-26 are usually due to lower recording levels. In the R-26, look at the input level meter(s) while recording and be sure that the meter is averaging between 12 and 6.
If the volume is averaging below (to the left of) 12, raise the INPUT 1 or INPUT 2 knob to raise the volume while recording.
