The following article contains troubleshooting information in the event that the VS-2400CD has no output sound:
- If speakers are connected, be sure that their volume is up and that they are turned on.
- Be sure that the speakers are connected to either the MASTER outputs or the MONITOR outputs on the back panel..
- Raise the MASTER fader

- Raise the MONITOR knob

- If headphones are being used, raise the PHONES knob.
Note: The MONITOR knob must be turn up (clockwise) in order to hear audio out of PHONES. - Be sure that the input mixer channels are up for the respective inputs when trying to get audio from an external device such as a mic or guitar. To do this, press the IN 1-12 button or the 13-24 button to the left of the MASTER fader.
- Then, raise the fader of the respective input to 0dB. For example: If a microphone is connected to input 5, raise fader 5 to 0dB.
- Be sure that the track mixer channels are up for the recorded tracks. To do this, press the TR-1-12 button or the TR-13-24 button to the left of the MASTER fader.
- Then, raise the fader of the recorded tracks.
- If the problem continues, try resetting the project's settings:
