The following is troubleshooting information in the event that a mouse is not functioning properly:
- If an external video VGA monitor is being used, the following article explains setup:
VS-2480: I CANNOT SEE THE MOUSE ON MY VGA DISPLAY (VS-2480) - Be sure that the mouse is set to ON. Instructions can be found on page 64 of the owner's manual.
- Be sure that you're not using a USB mouse connected to a USB to PS/2 mouse adapter. The mouse should be a straight PS/2 connection. Although a PS/2 optical mouse may work, we recommend using the older ball-type PS/2 mouse in this case to ensure compatibility.
- Test with a different PS/2 mouse to rule out a malfunctioning mouse.
- Be sure that the VS-2480CD is operating at the latest version:
