On the RC-500, you can assign a name to each memory so you can recall its settings or the song it is used for.
- Select the memory you want to name, and press the [MEMORY] button.
- Turn the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob to select "NAME", and press the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob.
- Turn the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob to move the cursor to the character position you want to enter, then press the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob.
- Turn the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob to select a character and then press the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob.
To delete a character, turn the knob counterclockwise until a blank character appears. - Repeat steps 3 and 4 to enter your remaining characters.
- To keep the name after you select a different memory or turn off the power, save the memory by pressing the [EXIT] and [ENTER] buttons together. For details, see "Saving a Memory" in the RC-500 Owner's Manual.
