The HS-5 contains an Auto Off feature that automatically shuts down the power after the unit has not been used for 600 minutes. Here are the steps if you'd like to disable this feature:

With the power turned on, press and hold the section B and D INPUT buttons simultaneously for 2- 3 seconds until the INPUT buttons begin flashing.

Release the buttons, and then turn the B knob counterclockwise until one green LED indicator is lit for the B knob.
- When you're finished, press the B INPUT button. The new setting is saved automatically.
