The UM-ONE MK2 can be used to connect a MIDI device (keyboard / organ / pedal / etc.) to an iOS device to control MIDI applications running on the iOS device. In addition to the UM-ONE MK2, you will need the Apple Camera Connector Kit (or Lightning to USB Camera Adapter for newer iPads with the lightning connector). Use the following procedure to set up this connection:
- Set the small switch on the side of the UM-ONE MK2 to the "TAB" position.
- Connect the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT of your MIDI device to the UM-ONE MK2.
- Connect the USB connector of the UM-ONE MK2 to the Apple adapter mentioned above.
- Connect the Apple adapter to the iOS device.
