The JD-Xi contains 8 banks of programs with 64 programs in each bank.
- Banks A-D are Preset banks (256 total)
- Banks E-H are User banks (256 total)
You can edit any of the preset programs (banks A-D), or 'start from scratch' by editing a program in the user banks (E-H). In either case, once you want to save your settings, they will be saved in the user banks. Here is the procedure:
- Hold down the [Shift] button and press the [Menu/Write] button.
The name input screen appears.
- Use the Cursor [<] [>] buttons to move the cursor, and use the Value [-] [+] buttons to select characters.
- When you’ve specified the name, press the [Enter] button.
- Use the Program (Pattern) Value [-] [+] buttons to select the save destination.
* If you specify a number in which data is already saved, the program name is shown in the lower line. Saving to this number will overwrite the program, erasing the previous data. - Press the [Enter] button.
A confirmation message appears. - Press the [Enter] button.
A screen indicating Complete ! appears, and the data is saved.
If you decide to cancel, press the [Exit] button.
* NEVER turn the power off while you are saving settings.
