HS-5: Switching the Effect Type and Editing the Parameters

The HS-5 contains several amp simulators and effects for guitar, bass, and vocal. You can switch the effect as appropriate for your performance:

Switching the Effect Type

1. Press the INPUT button for the section your instrument/mic is connected to until the correct input type is selected (LINE, GTR, BASS or MIC).
   
2. After selecting the correct type of input, press and hold that INPUT button but do not let go of the button.
3. While still holding the INPUT button, use the [A]–[D] knob to change the type and parameters based on the input "Type" you selected.
   
   

Editing Parameters
After selecting the effect type, use the following steps to edit its effect parameters.

1. Press and hold the INPUT button for the section you are connected to until the button begins to blink.
   
2. Once the INPUT button is blinking, let go of the button.
3. Use the [A]–[D] knob to change the type and parameters.
