Tuning and Muffling are great editing parameters found within the TD-25. Tuning adjusts the pitch of the instruments, while Muffling adjusts the decay (sustain). Each of their settings can be adjusted for the instruments and saved in each Kit. There is also the ability to adjust the volume level for each instrument.
Here's how to adjust the Tuning, Muffling, and Level for instruments in a Kit:
1. Choose a Kit that you'd like to edit.
2. Hit one of the pads that you'd like to adjust settings for.
3. Turn the TUNING, MUFFLING, or LEVEL knobs to adjust the values.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for any other pads if desired.
5. When you're finished, the screen will return to the main menu after about 8-10 seconds and the new settings are saved in the Kit automatically.
Tip: If you've made changes in a kit that you longer want to keep, you can Undo the settings. From the main kit menu, press the function 2 button(Undo) twice, and then press function 3(OK). This reloads the factory settings for the kit.
