The FR-1X is the only V-accordion that has a built-in metronome. This is a very handy feature for both beginners and advanced players, to work on keeping a steady beat.
To start or stop the metronome:
1) Hold down the [SET] register and press register [3] simultaneously. The display will briefly show "Str" for start, or "StP" for stop.
To change the tempo of the metronome:
1) Press and hold the [SET] register to enter PARAMETER mode.
2) Use treble registers [3] and [4] to select the "ntp" parameter (Metronome Tempo)
3) Use treble registers [1] and [2] to change the tempo, slower or faster respectively, of the metronome sound. (The default tempo is set at 120)
4) Press the [SET] register to return to the main screen.
To change the volume of the metronome sound:
1) Press and hold the [SET] register to enter PARAMETER mode.
2) Use treble registers [3] and [4] to select the "n L" parameter (Metronome Level)
3) Use treble registers [1] and [2] to change the volume, softer or louder respectively, of the metronome sound. (The default setting is 100)
4) Press the [SET] register to return to the main screen.
