The FR-3x/3xb features 8 drum sets.
To add drum/percussion sounds to the bass and chord section:
- Hold down the [ORGAN/ORCHESTRA] register and press treble register [6]
(DRUMS).
The display shows the number of the last Drum Set you selected (“d-x”, where “x” represents a number) or “doF” if you switched off the drum/percussion function. - Start playing in the left-hand section to hear the drum and percussion sounds.
Those sounds are added to the accordion or orchestral notes you play.
To select a different drum set:
- Press and hold the [SET] register to enter parameter mode.
- Use treble registers [3] and [4] to select the "DrS" (Drum Set) parameter.
- Use treble registers [1] and [2] to select the number that corresponds to the drum set you'd like to use.
You'll find a list of the drum sets at the bottom of this article.
If you want to use this change only temporarily, press the [SET] register to leave parameter mode.
If you'd like save the newly selected drum set (so that it remains the default drum set even after the accordion has been powered off), follow these instructions:
- Press and hold the [SET] register until the display shows "Urt".
- Press register [2] to save your settings. The display will show "yes".
- Press register [7], which means enter, to confirm the save.
To adjust the volume of the drum set:
- Press and hold the [SET] register to enter parameter mode.
- Use treble registers [3] and [4] to select the "DrL" (Drum Level) parameter.
- Use treble registers [1] and [2] to select the desired volume.
