SY-300: Restoring the Factory Default Settings (Factory Reset)

Below are the Steps to reset the SY-300 back to its factory-set state.

Note:
- Performing a Factory Reset will permanently erase all user/custom memory locations and settings. Please backup any user customized patches to the BOSS TONE STUDIO for SY-300, prior to performing the Factory Reset.
- The current installed firmware version will not be affected by the reset procedure.

1. Press the [MENU] button.
   
2. Turn the [SELECT] knob to select "SYSTEM", and press the [SELECT] knob.
3. Turn the [SELECT] knob to select "FACTORY RESET", and press the [SELECT] knob.
4. Use the parameter knob [1] to specify the areas that will be returned to their factory-set state.
   
   • SYSTEM + PATCH: All settings
   • SYSTEM: System parameter settings
   • PATCH: User patch settings
5. Press the [WRITE] button.
   
   If you decide to cancel without executing, press the [EXIT] button.
6. If you want to proceed with the factory reset, press the [SELECT] knob.
   Once the Factory Reset is complete, you are returned to the Play screen.
