The RC-30 Loop Station's USB 2.0 port allows you to connect to your computer and import/export 16 bit, 44.1 sample rate, WAV format audio. This is very useful when you desire to import audio loops from third-party sample collections, or audio files you have already created on your computer, into your RC-30.
To Import audio files into one or more of the RC-30's 99 Phrase Loop Memory slots, follow these steps:
- Connect a BOSS PSA adaptor to the RC-30, or insert fresh batteries.
- To power up the RC-30, connect a guitar cable into the L/Mono Output A jack.
- Connect the RC-30 to your computer with a USB cable and it will show up as an available hard drive on the desktop.
If the icon does not appear, please check the settings on your Mac referring this article: See the devices connected to your Mac - Click the RC-30 icon to open and browse to the ROLAND > WAVE folder.
- Drag and drop your audio file into the Phrase Memory/Track folder desired.
- Un-plug the USB cable and connect the RC-30 to your guitar setup, if not already connected, and choose the Phrase Memory you copied the file to in order to listen and overdub over it.
