The following steps will guide you through how to load the Custom Kit Collections that are available for download for the TD-25.
First, you'll want to format your external USB memory flash drive in the TD-25:
CAUTION: Formatting a USB drive in the TD-25 permanently deletes ALL data previously stored on the drive.
1. Insert the USB memory drive into the port on the side panel of the TD-25.
2. Press the Function 3 button (MENU).
3. Press function 3 again (SETUP).
4. Press function 2 or function 3 to highlight "USB Memory Format."
5. Press ENTER ("KICK" will be flashing). "This will Clear the USB Memory" will appear in the display.
6. Press function 3 twice. (Press function 1 if you'd like to cancel).
7. When the formatting is complete, press the function 1 button three times to return to the main menu.

Now perform a "One-Kit Backup" on the USB memory in the TD-25 (Save 1 Kit). Doing this places a "Kit Folder" on the USB memory for the new kits to transfer to.
1. Press function 3 [F3] (MENU).
2. Press F3(SETUP).
3. Press F3 repeatedly to select "Save 1 Kit."
4. Press the KICK button (ENTER).
5. Press F3(SAVE).

Next, if you already downloaded one of the custom kit collections, unzip the file to expose the internal files (Mac computers do this automatically). In a PC, you'll need to right click the zipped file and choose "extract." Extract them to your desktop.
Insert the USB memory drive into an available USB port on your computer. It will appear on the desktop (Mac), or in your "Computer" window (PC - external drives).
Drag the desired Kit files from the computer into the "Kit" folder on the USB memory.
Eject the USB memory from the computer, and then insert it back into the TD-25's USB memory port.
1. Press F3 (MENU).
2. Press F3 (SETUP).
3. Press F3 repeatedly to choose "Load 1 Kit."
4. Turn the INSTRUMENT knob to select the Kit that you want to load from the USB memory.
5. Press F3 (LOAD).
You can then press EXIT to return to the main menu and select the new kit.
