The Roland DUO-CAPTURE EX (UA-22) does not turn on, or turns off soon after turning on. Check the following based on the power source in use.
Batteries
- Manganese batteries are not supported. Use Alkaline batteries or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (AA).
Do not mix batteries of different capacities or types.
USB bus power
- Install the USB driver for your OS: https://www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/duo-capture_ex/updates_drivers/
For the installation procedure, see "USB Driver Installation" in the DUO-CAPTURE EX Owner's Manual. - Connect to a USB port that supplies at least 240 mA. If a power-saving setting is enabled in your power options, make sure it does not reduce the USB port's output current.
AC adaptor (sold separately)
- Use only the specified AC adaptor (PSB-1U plus the AC cord for your region).
