Occasionally it's useful to be able to transpose your guitar's tone up or down by different musical intervals. This is accomplished on a patch by patch basis, so you will need to dedicate two or more of the GR-55 User Preset Slots.
To do this:
- Select the Preset you wish to work with.
- Press WRITE once.
- Turn rotary wheel to Write a Copy of your original Preset to the next available USER Preset slot.
- Press WRITE.
- Confirm you are on the Preset that you wish to Transpose and press EDIT.
- Use Page Left/Right buttons to select the TONE tab.
- Use Left/Right and Up/Down arrows to select the GR-55's MODEL Tone.
- Press ENTER.
- Use Down arrow button to select: PITCH SHIFT under the PITCH SHIFT category.
- Use the Rotary wheel to set the amount of transposition desired.
- Press WRITE to save changes.
