R-4 Pro - Won't automatically jam to external timecode on each new recording session. I have the TC set to External, but it won't jam to my camera's TC every time I hit Record. Why?

The R-4 Pro will jam to External TC, but you must manually jam it to do so. Prior to starting a new recording, be sure to press System > Time code > Set INT TC > Jam EXT. This will update the R-4 to your external sync.
