You can back up your IR-200 custom memories and settings to your computer or a USB flash drive. This is useful for sharing IR-200 settings between units, or provides a backup in the event you need to perform a Factory Reset.
NOTE: You can not connect a USB flash drive directly to the IR-200. To perform a backup or restore, you will need to have downloaded and installed the IR-200 IR Loader and the relevant drivers for your operating system. BOSS - IR-200 | Amp & IR Cabinet
With the IR-Loader open, follow these steps.
- In the upper right corner of the IR loader screen, click on the MENU 'hamburger' icon.
- Select BACKUP from the available functions.
- Choose the location you wish to save the backup file, and choose a file name if needed.
You have successfully created a backup!
Now, if you want to restore this to your IR-200 or load it into a different IR-200, select RESTORE at step 2 and locate the backup file to restore.
NOTE: A restore from backup, will overwrite all memories and settings on your IR-200.
