The following steps guide through exporting an individual track to a computer:
- Press UTILITY.
- Press TR2 (TRK).
- Press the right arrow cursor button.
- Press TR2 (EXP).
- Use the arrow cursor buttons and VALUE buttons to select the track that and V-track that will be exported.
Example 1: If track 3 virtual track 1 will be exported, select "TR3-V1".
Example 2: If a stereo recording is on track 1 and 2, virtual 1, (such as a keyboard or drums), select "TR12-V1".
Note that recording always takes place inside a V-track (virtual track). The default of all tracks is their first virtual track (V-track 1). So each track defaults to Track 1-V1, Track 2-V1, Track 3-V1, etc. - Press TR4 for NEXT.
- Press the VALUE + or > key to choose the quality of mp3 that you want to create, or choose “WAV.”
- Press TR4 (EXE). The track(s) will be converted to MP3 or WAV.
- Connect the MICRO BR to a computer via USB. A window will appear on your computer showing you the contents of the MICRO BR memory card.
Note: If a window does not appear on your computer:
Windows:
1. Click on the Windows icon (or Start icon) on the bottom left of the screen.
2. Click on Computer (or My Computer).
3. Click on the MICRO BR icon in the Devices with Removable Storage section.
Mac OS X:
On your computer's desktop, open the MICRO BR icon. - Open the "MP3" folder. Drag the MP3 or WAV file to your desktop.
- You may now use the MP3 or WAV file with the software of your choice. Please refer to the software's current manual or online help for instructions with using the software.
