The last USB drivers released for the PCR-A30 supported Windows 7 and OSX 10.6. To connect to a newer OS, you will need to change the USB Driver setting for MIDI and Audio to "Generic." This will allow the PCR-A30 to use the built-in MIDI and Audio drivers in Windows or OSX, and will not require that a Roland driver be installed on your computer.
Setting the USB MIDI Driver
- Press EDIT - the screen will display "Edt."
- Press the SYSTEM key - the screen will display "SY0."
