On the RC-5, you can assign a name to each memory so you can recall its settings or the song it is used for.
- Select the memory that you want to edit.
- Press the [MEMORY] button.
The memory settings screen appears. - Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select "NAME" and press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.
- Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to move the cursor to the position at which you want to enter a character, and then press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.
* Maximum of 12 characters - Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select a character, and then press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.
- Press the [MEMORY] button to return to the play screen.
- To keep the name after you select a different memory or turn off the power, save the memory by pressing the [SETUP] and [MEMORY] buttons together. For details, see "Saving a Memory (WRITE)" in the RC-5 Owner's Manual.
