If a "Protected" message appears on the screen, the currently loaded song file's Song Protect function is set to ON. If Song Protect is enabled, the following operations cannot be performed:
• Recording
• Track editing
• Changing the song name
• Changing the MASTER LEVEL
• Changing the KEY
• Song erase
• Rhythm editing
• Writing to the song effect patches
• Song optimize
To turn Song Protect off:
- Press MENU.
- Cursor to "SONG" and then press ENTER.
- Cursor to "INFO" and then press ENTER.
- Cursor to "PROTECT" and then use the dial to turn this off.
