FA-06, FA-07, FA-08: Creating a System Exclusive Message

You can use the Microscope Editor in the sequencer of the FA-06, FA-07, and FA-08 to create System Exclusive messages - here are the steps:

1. Press SEQUENCER to bring up the main sequencer screen.
2. Hold down SHIFT and press the #5 button under the screen (which says "Microscope" on the screen above it).
3. Press the #2 button under the screen to create a new MIDI event.
4. Turn the dial to select "System Exclusive" and then press the #7 button under the screen ("Execute"). This will create a new System Exclusive message on your track.
5. Press the right arrow button (>) to open a window where you can edit the SysEx message.
6. When finished editing the message, press the #7 button under the screen ("Execute") to save your changes.
