ES-5: Switching Amp Channels Using CTL Output

(NOTE: you will need to use two presets.)

1. Connect a TRS 1/4" cable from the CTL 1/2 jack of the ES-5 to the footswitch jack on the back of your amp.
2. Press the EDIT button, then use the Page Left/Right buttons to get to the PATCH category.
3. Press ENTER.
4. Press Page Left/Right to get to the CTL ON/OFF assign screen.
5. Press ENTER.
6. Press Page Left/Right to get to the CTL1 (C1).
7. Use the +/- buttons to turn CTL assigns ON or OFF.
8. Tap WRITE three times to save the patch.
9. Repeat for preset (amp channel) two, but choose CTL2 (C2) instead, then WRITE to save your setting.
