Please follow these steps to download and import new patches into your GT-100. If you have already done some of these steps, skip to the one's that you haven't done yet and continue from there:
- Install the GT-100's USB driver.
You can get it here: BOSS - GT-100 | COSM Amp Effects Processor - Plug a USB cable into the GT-100, with the end going to your one of your computer's on-board USB ports, preferably plugged into a USB 2.0 port, or a USB 3.0 port that is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices. (Check your computer's technical documentation if you're not sure)
- Download and install BOSS Tone Studio via the following links: BOSS - GT-100 | COSM Amp Effects Processor
(PLEASE NOTE: To get the BOSS Tone Studio software, please scroll down to the bottom of the page, click the "I Agree.." box, then click the "Download File" link.) provided above.Install the BOSS Tone Studio application. If you experience any problems getting the program to install, download and install a program named Adobe Air: BOSS TONE STUDIO: Installing Adobe AIR (Windows) - With your GT-100 plugged in and turned on, launch the BOSS Tone Studio application.
- Click the TONE CENTRAL button, located in the lower left-hand corner of the program, then choose the Genre you want.
- Under the column heading that says: LIVESET, select which Preset Collection you wish to import into your GT-100.
- Once you've selected your choice, click the: ADD button at the bottom right of the screen.
- Click the: LIBRARIAN button.
- Drag and Drop all presets over the left-most column (GT-100's Factory Preset library) you wish to save to your GT-100.
