OCTA-CAPTURE, UA-1010: How to Send the 8 Audio Inputs Directly to the 8 Audio Outputs

The following article guides through setting up the OCTA-CAPTURE to output the 8 inputs directly to the 8 outputs.

Notes:

• The only way to accomplish this would be to use all four of the OCTA-CAPTURE's Direct Mixes (Mix A, Mix B, Mix C and Mix D). In this case, the direct mixes will not be available for any other use other than for this direct patching.
• If you're attempting to send 8 tracks from audio software, refer to the documentation of the software or contact the software manufacturer for instructions regarding setting this up in their software.

Setup:

1. Open the OCTA-CAPTURE Control Panel software:
   Windows: Click on the Windows (or Start) icon --> All Programs --> Roland folder.
   Mac OS X: Open the OCTA-CAPTURE Control Panel from the Applications folder.
2. On the top of the window or top of the screen, click on "Device."
3. Select "Directly Output to the Inputs" and then click on "OK".
   The 8 audio inputs will not be directly output to the 8 audio outputs.
4. If using a second OCTA-CAPTURE:
1. Click on the OCTA-CAPTURE EXP button on the bottom left of the window:
   
   The second OCTA-CAPTURE will be selected.
2. Then repeat steps 1 through 3 above.
