If you enjoy using the BR-600's built-in drum machine but would like to transfer the drum Patterns or Arrangements to a track, this article will guide through the procedure. The BR-600's drums can be Bounced down (recorded) to a stereo track.
How to Bounce the Built-In Drums to Two Tracks
- Press the REC MODE button until BOUNCE appears on the screen.
- In the top right-hand corner of the screen, the Track Destination will appear (the default is 78V1).
- Press the
button to select track 5/6 as the destination. This will be where the drums will be recorded to.
- Turn down the fader volumes of all tracks except for the RHYTHM and MASTER fader.
- Press the ZERO button to return to the beginning of your song.
- Press RECORD and then press PLAY.
- Press REC+PLAY and let the song play all the way through. When the song is over, press STOP. The drums are now recorded on track 5/6.
- Bring down the RHYTHM fader and bring up fader 5/6 and any other track faders needed.
- Press the REC MODE button until INPUT appears on the screen.
