To record an effect to a track, you will need to "stamp" the effect to empty tracks. This means that in the EZ Routing screen you will reroute both a track and an effect return (of the effect that the track is using) to an empty RECORDING TRACK and then record these onto the empty track. You will need enough empty tracks to accomplish this. The following will guide you through this procedure:
In this example, we will record all settings and effects (using FX 1) for Track 10 to Track 21. This means that, after completing this process, all settings and effects from Track 10 will be recorded onto Track 21:
- Press the EZ ROUTING button.
- Press F1 (VIEW). If you don’t see “VIEW” above F1, press PAGE and then F1 (VIEW).
- CURSOR to select the FX return channel’s output and then turn the TIME/VALUE dial to select "Recording Track" 21.
- CURSOR to select Track 10 in the "TRACK MIXER" section and then turn the TIME/VALUE dial to select "Recording Track" 21.
- Press the TR-13-24 button to the left of the red MASTER fader to assign the faders as tracks 13-24.
- Arm Track 21 and begin recording.
Note: Be sure the volume to the source track (in this example, Track 10) is up. - Press STOP to end recording.
