The BALANCED OUT XLR socket on the rear of the KATANA-110 BASS and KATANA-210 BASS can be used to send your bass guitar's signal to an external PA system or similar equipment.
The SELECT switch provides three different options, allowing you to send the signal with or without your KATANA BASS amp's EQ changing the sound:
- POST - The signal from the BALANCED OUT has been changed by the EQ of the amp
- PRE - The signal from the BALANCED OUT is before the EQ has changed the sound, but after any onboard compressions
- DIRECT - An unaffected signal from the BALANCED OUT
