The Windows system may have been set to “do nothing” or “sleep” when either the power or sleep button are pressed or the laptop cover is closed. In this case, the USB port is not suspended, and thus the LED on the BRIDGE CAST X to which the computer is connected via USB remains lit. To make the LED on the BRIDGE CAST X go dark when Windows enters sleep mode, change the action assigned to the power button or to the laptop cover closing to “Hibernate”.
Follow the steps below.
- Search for “Power” in the “Type here to search” field on the Windows taskbar.
- Click “Choose a power plan”.
- Click “Choose what the power buttons do”.
- Change the settings to “Hibernate” as necessary.
