There are many different instrument editing parameters to work with in the TD-50/TD-50X. Adjusting the Tuning, Size, or Shell depth of a drum instrument are just a few examples of detailed edits that you can make. Here's how to adjust the tuning of an instrument in a Kit:
- Choose a Kit to edit.
- Press the INSTRUMENT button.
- Press the PAGE UP button to confirm you are viewing "Instrument 1" page.
- Press F2 (BASIC 1).
- Hit one of the pads (i.e. kick or snare pad) that you'd like to adjust the tuning for.
- Turn the R1 knob to adjust the Tuning value. (-100 - +100).
- Repeat Steps 5 & 6 for any other pads as desired.
Tip: You can preview the instrument sound without having to hit the pad by tapping on the PREVIEW button.
- When you're finished, press the KIT button to exit.
The new settings are saved in the Kit automatically.
