If you are experiencing noise with the VE-22, try the following methods.
Adjust the mic input sensitivity on the MIC screen
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Turn the [MEMORY] knob to select the "MIC" row.
All items in the selected row are underlined. - Press the [HARMONY] knob.
The MIC screen appears. - Input some audio into the mic.
- Turn the [MIC SENS] knob on the rear panel to adjust the mic input sensitivity.
- The optimum setting is about when only one yellow bar lights up at the loudest input volume.
- If the yellow bars don't light up even when the [MIC SENS] knob is set to MAX, turn the [HARMONY] knob and set the GAIN to "HIGH".
Apply the NS (noise suppressor) on the DYNAMICS screen
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Turn the [MEMORY] knob to select the "DYNAMICS" row.
All items in the selected row are underlined. - Press the [EFFECT] knob.
The DYNAMICS screen appears. - Turn the [MEMORY] knob to select the "NS" row, then use the [HARMONY] knob to adjust the value.
- Adjust it as appropriate for the volume of the noise.
If the noise level is high, a higher setting is appropriate.
