The BRIDGE CAST X enables streaming on two computers (for gaming and streaming) by using two USB-C ports and the HDMI IN connector.
Required Devices and Cables
- BRIDGE CAST X (dedicated USB driver must be installed)
- AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A)
- BRIDGE CAST app
- Computer for gaming (with monitor)
- Computer for streaming
- Microphone, headphones or headset

Installing the dedicated app and connecting devices
- Install BRIDGE CAST X driver and BRIDGE CAST app on your computers.

See "Connecting to a computer/external equipment" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual. - Use the included USB-C cable to connect the computer (for gaming) to the USB I port and the streaming PC to the USB II port.

Use an HDMI cable to connect the computer (for gaming) to the HDMI IN 1 connector.
Note: The signal input to the HDMI IN 1 or HDMI IN 2 connector must be 2160p (4K)/60 Hz or 1080p/60 Hz. Video signals with resolutions other than 2160p (4K)/60 Hz or 1080p/60 Hz are not output from the USB II port.
- Connect a monitor to the HDMI THRU connector.
*Connect other devices such as speakers and video game consoles as needed.
Settings for game sound and voice chat app
- Open Settings on Windows 11, go to System > Sound > Advanced - Volume Mixer > Apps and set the audio output destination for the game app you want to play to "GAME (BRIDGECAST X-II)".
For Windows 10, go to System > Sound > App volume and device settings.
NOTE: It allows you to listen to it in virtual surround sound. For details, see "Listening to game audio in virtual surround" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual. - Follow the steps in "Getting ready to use a mic" to set up the microphone.
- Setup the voice chat app on the gaming PC (USB I) or streaming PC (USB II).
*Below is an example of settings in Discord.- In Discord Settings window, click Voice & Video under App Settings.
- Select the following for INPUT DEVICE and OUTPUT DEVICE, respectively.
- INPUT DEVICE: MIC(BRIDGECAST X-I) or MIC(BRIDGE CAST X-II)
- OUTPUT DEVICE: CHAT(BRIDGECAST X-I) or CHAT(BRIDGE CAST X-II)
- (Optional) Configure background music settings.

Settings for streaming app (OBS)
- Adjusts the STREAM MIX bus volume.
See "OUTPUT section" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual. - In OBS, click the three dots next to the Microphone volume gauge in the Audio Mixer, then select "Properties".
- Select "STREAM(BRIDGE CAST X)" for Device.

Press the [VIDEO USB OUT] button of the BRIDGE CAST X to lit.
The video signal from the HDMI IN 1 or 2 connector is output to the USB II port.NOTE: The video signal fed into the HDMI IN 1 or 2 connector must be 2160p (4K)/60Hz or 1080p/60Hz. Signals with resolutions other than 2160p (4K)/60Hz or 1080p/60Hz will not be output from the USB II port.
- In the Sources Box of OBS, select the + and choose Video Capture Device, then select "Roland BRIDGE CAST X" for Device.
