By connecting the BRIDGE CAST X and PS5 simultaneously via HDMI and USB-C, game and voice chat sounds can be mixed separately.
Required Devices and Cables
- BRIDGE CAST X (dedicated USB driver must be installed)
- AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A)
- BRIDGE CAST app
- PlayStation®5
- Monitor
- Microphone, headphones or headset
- USB cable (included)
- HDMI cable
- (Optional) speakers, video game console
Installing the dedicated app and Connecting devices
- Install BRIDGE CAST X driver and BRIDGE CAST app on your computers.

See "Connecting to a computer/external equipment" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual. - Connect the PlayStation®5 to the HDMI IN 1 or 2 connector on the BRIDGE CAST X.
*When using a monitor, connect it to the HDMI THRU connector. - Set the USB I connection setting switch to “CONSOLE/MOBILE”, then connect thePlayStation®5 to the USB I port on the BRIDGE CAST X.
- Connect a monitor to the HDMI THRU connector.
*Connect other devices such as speakers and video game consoles as needed.
Settings on the PlayStation®5
- Go to the home screen and select Settings > Sound.
- Select Mic settings, then select "USB headset (BRIDGECAST X-I)" for Input Device.
- Select Output Device, then select "USB headset (BRIDGECAST X-I)" for Output Device.
Output to headphones setting is now active. - Select "Voice chat audio" for Output to headphones.
Items under Information for the connected HDMI device are now active and sound is output to the HDMI. - In the BRIDGE CAST app, ensure that the game sound is fed to the [HDMI] channel and the voice chat sound is fed to the [CONS/MOBI] channel, and adjust their volumes accordingly.
