BRIDGE CAST X: Playing games and streaming them on a single computer

Connecting a computer to either the USB I port or the USB II port on the BRIDGE CAST X allows you to adjust the volume levels for both the game sound and voice chat during streaming.

Required Devices and Cables

• BRIDGE CAST X (dedicated USB driver must be installed)
• AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A)
• BRIDGE CAST app
• Computer (with monitor)
• Microphone, headphones or headset
• USB cable (included)
• (Optional) Speakers

Installing the dedicated app and connecting devices

1. Install BRIDGE CAST X driver and BRIDGE CAST app on your computer.

2. Connect the microphone and headphones (headset) to the BRIDGE CAST X.
   See "Connecting to a computer/external equipment" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual.
3. Use the included USB-C cable to connect the gaming PC to the USB II port.
   *Connect other devices such as speakers as needed.
   

Settings for game sound

1. Open Settings on Windows 11, go to System > Sound > Advanced - Volume Mixer > Apps and set the audio output destination for the game app you want to play to "GAME (BRIDGECAST X-II)".
   For Windows 10, go to System > Sound > App volume and device settings.

2. Follow the steps in "Getting ready to use a mic" to set up the microphone.
3. Setup the voice chat app on the computer.
   *Below is an example of settings in Discord.
   
   1. In Discord Settings window, click Voice & Video under App Settings.
   2. Select the following for INPUT DEVICE and OUTPUT DEVICE, respectively.
      • INPUT DEVICE: MIC(BRIDGECAST X-II)
      • OUTPUT DEVICE: CHAT(BRIDGECAST X-II)
4. (Optional) Configure background music settings.
   See "Using background music" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual for details.

Settings for streaming app (OBS)

1. Adjusts the STREAM MIX bus volume.
   See "OUTPUT section" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual.
2. In OBS, click the three dots next to the Microphone volume gauge in the Audio Mixer, then select "Properties".
3. Select "STREAM(BRIDGE CAST X)" for Device.
