BRIDGE CAST X: How to monitor the game with a high refresh rate monitor – Roland Corporation

With the following circumstances, you can connect a high refresh rate monitor to the HDMI THRU connector on the BRIDGE CAST.

a. You are not streaming a game
b. You are playing a game and streaming it on a single computer
c. You are streaming on both a gaming PC and a streaming PC at the same time
NOTE: The case c requires a computer that has two HDMI outputs.

For the case a and b:

Required Devices and Cables

BRIDGE CAST X (dedicated USB driver must be installed)
AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A)
BRIDGE CAST app
Computer
High refresh rate monitor
Microphone, headphones or headset
HDMI cables
Livestreaming app
(Optional) Speakers, video game console

Installing the dedicated app and connecting devices

Install BRIDGE CAST X driver and BRIDGE CAST APP on your computers.

Use an HDMI cable to connect your computer to the HDMI IN 1 or 2 connector.
Use another HDMI cable to connect the high refresh rate monitor to the HDMI THRU connector.
Press the VIDEO [USB OUT] button to unlit.
Follow the steps under "Settings for game sound" and "Settings for streaming app (OBS)" in the related article "Playing games and streaming them on a single computer" to configure the settings for each sound.

For the case c:

Use an HDMI cable to connect one of the HDMI outputs on your computer to the high refresh rate monitor.
Use another HDMI cable to connect a different HDMI output your computer to the HDMI IN 1 or 2 connector.
Follow the steps in "How to stream on two computers" to connect other equipment and set up the audio, video, and streaming.
