If you've recorded audio to a microSD card using the Gigcaster 8, the audio files can be exported to a computer for additional use.

Exporting Your Recorded Data

- Install the "Gigcaster8 GCS-8 App" from the product download page:
https://www.boss.info/global/products/gigcaster_8/downloads/ - Connect the Gigcaster 8 to the computer with a USB cable.
- Launch the Gigcaster 8 app.
- Click on SD Card on the top of the screen.
- Click on the file icon. A window will appear.
- Select the desired file to export and then click "Open."
- Select the desired FILE FORMAT, SAMPLE RATE and BIT depth.
- Click on EXPORT. A window will appear.
- Select the export location you would like and then click on "SAVE." The export process will begin. Please note that this may take some time--depending on the length of the recording.
- When "Completed!" appears, the export process is complete.
- Click on "OK" and then "CLOSE" to return to the main screen.
