This guide walks you through basic audio and video setup for BRIDGE CAST X. For more detailed setup information, including Dual PC setups, please reference the related guides available in the knowledgebase.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If you previously installed the control app for the original BRIDGE CAST (version 2.00 or earlier), use this guide to update it to version 3.00 or later before connecting BRIDGE CAST X to that computer.
The original BRIDGE CAST will continue to work with that computer, they both use the same control app. And you don’t need to uninstall anything to add BRIDGE CAST X to that computer.

Connect HDMI THRU to your monitor.
On the top panel, check that VIDEO 1 is lit white.
If instead VIDEO 2 is lit, press the HDMI IN button once.
Press the USB OUT button once, so that it’s lit blue.
If you disconnect your source or it is not compatible, the USB OUT button will turn off after a few seconds.
Step 6
There are 2 USB cables in the box. Set aside the one labeled “Power” and use the other one.
Check that the switch above USB II on the back of BRIDGE CAST X is set to PC.
