Yes. If an expression pedal (EV-5) is connected to the rear panel FC1/L jack or FC2/C jack, you can use your foot to adjust the volume.
- You can also use the foot volume to adjust the volume output from the OUTPUT jacks.
If you want to use an expression pedal to adjust the volume, perform the following procedure to assign the appropriate function to pedal FC1 or FC2.
- Use only the specified expression pedal. The unit might malfunction if you connect a product made by a different manufacturer.
- Connect an expression pedal to the FC1/L jack or FC2/C jack.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the cursor [∧] [∨] buttons to select “SYSTEM”, and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the cursor [∧] [∨] buttons to select “ASSIGN”, and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the cursor [<] [>] button to display the “PEDAL” screen.
- Use the cursor [∧][∨] buttons to select the PEDAL jack (FC1 or FC2) to which your expression pedal is connected.
- Use the [DEC] [INC] button to select “CC07” or “CC11”.

NOTE: The settings of these controllers can be specified and saved individually per Scene. This is convenient when you want to switch the controller assignments for each sound (Scene). In the Scene edit parameters, change each controller’s Source from System to Scene. For details, refer to the Parameter Guide.
