If your FANTOM 6/7/8 displays the message "Program Version Error!", the system program update may not have been completed.
The update for FANTOM 6/7/8 has two processes:
- The first process is to connect the USB flash drive to the USB MEMORY port and proceed with the update.
- The second process is to connect the USB flash drive to any of the EXT DEVICE jacks (1, 2, 3) and complete the update.
To complete the update, both processes must be performed. Please refer to the video below and the instructions on the System Program download page for the detailed procedure.
If you continue to see the error message after following these steps, there is a possibility of a malfunction with the downloaded file, or USB flash drive, or the main unit. To isolate the cause, we recommend redownloading the file, and trying the update with a different USB flash drive.
