Panning (PAN) is a parameter in the TD-27 which allows you to adjust the sound (left-center-right) within the stereo spectrum. It's possible to adjust the Panning of each pad individually in each of the Kits in the TD-27. Here's how.
- Choose a Kit to edit.
- Press the KIT EDIT button.
- Use the cursor buttons
to navigate until "PAD VOL" is flashing.
- Press ENTER.
- Press [F2](PAN tab).
- Hit the pad that you want to adjust the panning for.
- Turn the main dial to adjust the panning.
- Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for any remaining pads as desired.
- Press the DRUM KIT button when you're finished. The new settings are saved in the Kit automatically.
