GO:KEYS 5, GO:KEYS 3: Assigning a Function to the Wheel

GO:KEYS 5/GO:KEYS 3 System Program Ver.1.04 added modulation control to the Wheel.

To assign a function to the Wheel, update the system program to the latest version and follow the steps below.

1. On the home screen, press the [f4] (SETTING) button.
   The Tone setting screen appears.
2. Press the [f3] (COMMON) button.
   The parameters are shown.
   
3. Press the [split/dual] button to switch between keyboard modes.
4. Edit the settings by using the dial to select 'Wheel".
5. Press the [enter] button to move the cursor to a value.

6. Use the dial again to choose the function you wish to assign from the table below:

   Wheel	PITCH BEND	Controls the pitch bend.
   	MODULATION	Controls the modulation depth.
   	BEND-U+MOD	Raise the wheel to control the pitch bend, and lower the wheel to control the modulation depth.
   	MOD+BEND-D	Raise the wheel to control the modulation depth, and lower the wheel to control the pitch bend.
   	BEND&MOD	Controls the pitch bend and modulation depth at the same time.
   	BEND&MOD-X	Controls the pitch bend; and when the wheel is moved to around its maximum position, this controls the modulation depth.

7. Press the [enter] button to return to the parameters.
   Once you have chosen and set your function for the mod wheel, make sure to save the scene.
