The FANTOM 6 EX, FANTOM 7 EX, and FANTOM 8 EX provide the following maximum polyphony:
- V-Piano Technology tones: all keys produce sound (available in ZONE 1 only)
- ZEN-Core tones / Drum Kit tones: 256 notes*
* Varies depending on the load of the sounds being used
Notes:
- When V-Piano Technology tones and ZEN-Core tones / Drum Kit tones are combined as a layer, polyphony is counted separately for each; the totals are not combined.
- For ZEN-Core tones (including PCM/VA) and Drum Kit tones, polyphony is counted across all zones (up to 16 parts). If the OSC TYPE is PCM and separate waves are assigned to the L and R of a partial, that partial counts as two notes.
