The FANTOM 6 EX, FANTOM 7 EX, and FANTOM 8 EX support connecting the Roland A-49 or A-PRO series (A-800PRO, A-500PRO, A-300PRO) to the EXTERNAL DEVICE jacks (1, 2, 3) on the rear panel. Connecting a USB-MIDI controller allows you to trigger the zone that corresponds to the specified MIDI channel.
Note: Operation is not guaranteed when a generic MIDI device is connected. To transfer performance data and audio signals between the unit and a computer, use the USB COMPUTER port.
